こちらは、編集者として、多くの書籍を世に送り出してきた、梨本敬法(1961-2023)が撮影した写真作品を紹介するサイトです。

梨本敬法は、東京台東区出身、早稲田実業中学高校を卒業後、早稲田大学へ進学します。大学では写真部に所属し活動しました。このホームページの写真作品は在学中の1980年代の前半に撮影されたものです。バブル経済の始まる前の東京で、同潤会アパートなど時代の記憶のある場所に目を向けています。

「眺めのいい部屋　どこでもないどこか」は、1984年の卒業前に展覧会で発表された写真を晩年、闘病中に再び公開しようと、自身が再構成したものです。江戸川橋、清澄白河、鶯谷の同潤会アパートや、浅草の映画館、東京クラブなど築後50年を超えた建造物が、時の集積とともに、独特の気配を醸し出している様子を捉えています。またタイルフェチを自称し、旧い白いタイルのトイレにも目を向けています。他にも白いカバーの掛けられた喫茶室の椅子、航空機の機体などが、独特の感覚で撮影されています。

この一連の作品は、1984年当時の本人のオリジナルプリントをスキャンしたものです。オリエンタルの２号の印画紙を使い、ぬるりとした質感を出しています。35mmネガでの撮影ですが再構成にあたってスクエアにトリミングされたカットもあります。

「1983」は生前本人が、1983年の撮影と言っていたネガ群から、管理人がセレクトしたものです。同潤会アパート、東京クラブの別カット、地元浅草のスナップなどから構成してあります。ネガをスキャンしたデータを使用しています。40余年前の東京で一人の写真青年が何をみていたのか、ご覧ください。

編集者として活動し始めると、カメラマンに写真を依頼することが仕事になり、自らの作品を撮る機会も少なくなったと思います。しかし2018年に病を得て始めたインスタグラムでは sunnynashimoto 名義で建築、街、美術、食、植物など幅広い範囲で自身の世界観を発信しました。

INFASで「スタジオボイス」の編集に携わったのち、洋泉社、宝島社で文化、社会、教育、医療、ビジネス等多様な書籍を編集する。

Welcome to YOSHINORI　NASHIMOTO　PHOTOGRAPHY

This is a website that introduces the photographs taken by Yoshinori Nashimoto(1961-2023),who has published many books as an editor.

Yoshinori Nashimoto was born in Taito Ward,Tokyo, and after graduating from Waseda Jitugyo junior and High School, he went on to Waseda University.

At university, he was a member of the photography club.The photographs  on this website were taken in the early 1980s while he was student.

“A Room with a Good View : Somewhere Nowhere” is a recomposition of photographs that were exhibited before his graduation in 1984, which he re-exhibited in later years while battling illness.

His work captures the unique atmosphere of buildings that were more than 50 years old at the time, such as the Dojunkai apartments in Edogawabashi, Kiyosumi Shirakawa, and Uguisudani, and the Tokyo Club movie theater in Asakusa, which have taken on a unique atmosphere over the years.He also describes himself as a title fetishist, and has an eye for old white-tailed toilets. Other photographs he has taken with his own unique sensibility include a chair in a coffee shop with a white cover and the fuselage of an aircraft.

This series of works is scan of his original prints from 1984.The prints are on Oriental No.2 photographic paper, and the smooth texture stands out.

“1983” was selected by the administrator from a group of negatives that he said were taken in 1983. It consists of other hots of the Dojunnkai apartments and Tokyo Club, as well as snapshots of his hometown, Awakusa. The images are made using data scanned from negatives. Take a look at what a young photographer saw in Tokyo over 40 years ago.

When he started working as an editor, his job become to commission photographers to take photos, and he probably had few opportunities to take his own work. However, in 2018, after he became ill, he started using Instagram under name sunnynashimoto to share his worldview in a wide range of areas, including architecture, cities, art, food, and plants.

business, etc. at Yousensha and Takarajimasha.
